I had an outstanding experience at Cunning Dental. Obviously this would be an extremely stressful aspect of the process but she had a terrific array of resources, relationships with those resources, and really, genuinely helped me to relax enough that I could focus on making the decision that was right for me.

Dentures and Partials Explained
Dentures and partial dentures are removable prostheses for people that have lost most or all of their teeth. Dentures no longer need to be visually obvious or uncomfortable as they were in previous years. Thanks to modern technology and materials, dentures can duplicate the natural look of teeth and gums, and they can fit comfortably with excellent stability.

At Cunning Dental Group, dentures can be made to look and function just like natural teeth. They are made and placed into your mouth after existing teeth are removed and the tissues have healed. The normal lifetime of a denture is about 5 to 10 years, but this can vary depending on the patient. In time, due to changes to your gum tissue and bones or the general wearing down of the prostheses, your denture may need some adjustments. At Cunning Dental Group, our specialists can provide you with any adjustment you need, whether it be a reline, rebase, or replacement.
What about partials?
Removable partial dentures may be a solution to replace your missing teeth. They usually have replacement teeth fixed to a plastic base that closely matches the color of your gums. With a partial denture, a metal framework connects the teeth and the base and may attach to your natural teeth with metal clasps.
Your mouth naturally changes as you age, and this can affect the fit of your denture or partial denture. Your bone ridges may shrink, creating a space under the denture. If your denture needs adjusting, Cunning Dental Group does not recommend that you adjust it yourself because you could harm both the denture and your health. Make an appointment with us as soon as possible if your removable partial denture breaks, cracks, chips, or if one of the teeth become loose.
